A Lubbock jury returns a verdict of guilty against a man accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriends 14- year-old daughter.
Phil Anderson was accused of having sex with the underage girl for years. Yesterday, he took the stand in his own defense.
Although he signed a confession, he told the jury he made it up and he never assaulted the girl, but the victim and the defendants own son testified otherwise. It took the jury nearly 3 hours to find Anderson guilty. The same jury is still deliberating his punishment. He could receive up to 20 years in prison.
