A native of Oneonta, Alabama, Chris is a graduate of Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology Program where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with concentration in Broadcast Meteorology and a communication minor.
He joined the KLBK Storm Track Weather Team in March 2011 as our weekend meteorologist and a weekday weather producer. In addition to his duties here at KLBK-TV, Chris is also a part time meteorologist for our sister stations KRBC-TV in Abilene and KSAN-TV in San Angelo.
West Texas is no stranger to Chris when it comes to weather forecasting. Before moving to Lubbock he worked for three years as the morning and midday meteorologist at KRBC-TV in Abilene. He also worked for two years as the weekend meteorologist and a news reporter at KLST-TV in San Angelo. Chris also had a one year stint as the morning meteorologist and a news reporter with WTOK-TV in Meridian, Mississippi.
