Lisa joined the KLBK Storm Track Team in June of 2011 after moving from her hometown of Highland in northwest Indiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology with a math minor and also a Bachelor of Arts Degree in TV/Radio Communications from Valparaiso University.
In college, Lisa kept busy as Chief Meteorologist of VUTV, President of the Northwest Indiana Chapter of the American Meteorology Society/National Weather Association, Chief Meteorologist for her college newspaper, and a member of the Valparaiso University Storm Intercept Team.
She was also an evening Meteorologist for Lakeshore PBS of Merrillville, Indiana. Among her many internships, one of her favorites was with Meteorologist Tom Skilling in the WGN Weather Center in Chicago.
In her free time Lisa likes to run and go rollerblading, volunteer at the local women's shelter & animal shelter, and enjoy mother nature's show first hand by going storm chasing.
