High School Baseball Playoffs Weekend Recap

uil22007-05-28-1180395423.jpgIt was a big weekend for a few local high school baseball teams. 5 teams entered the weekend looking for a birth in the regional finals, but only 4 realized that goal. Estacado, Cooper, Roosevelt, and New Deal all victorious in their regional semi-final series, while Denver City was the only local team to be eliminated. Below is a schedule for the regional finals:




Class 4A Regional Final

Estacado vs Boswell


Game 1: Friday, TBA

Game 2: Saturday, 1 PM

Game 3: If Necessary, will follow Game 2 on Saturday

All games will be played at Wilder Field in Plainview, Texas

Class 3A Regional Final

Lubbock Cooper vs Abilene Wylie

Game 1: Thursday, 7:30 PM

Game 2: Friday, 2 PM

Game 3: If Necessary, will follow Game 2 on Friday

All Games will be played at City Bank Ballpark in Midland, Texas

Class 2A Regional Final

Roosevelt vs Blanco

Game 1: Thursday, 7 PM

Game 2: Friday, 11 AM

Game 3: If necessary - Saturday, 7 PM

All games will be played at Hardin-Simmons' Hunter Field in Abilene, Texas

Class 1A Regional Final

New Deal vs Seymour

Game 1: Thursday, 2:30 PM

Game 2: Thursday, following Game 1

Game 3: If necessary - Friday, 5 PM

All games will be played at Moffet Field in Snyder, Texas
