DROWNINGFOLOpkg2008-06-30-1214875936.jpgA Lubbock toddler remains in very critical condition tonight after nearly drowning in her familys swimming pool on Friday. Scary events like this one have many parents speaking out about pool safety. Elise White has a 3 year old at home and a pool in the backyard. She says its far too easy for the kids to get out of her sight and fall into the pool. She and many other parents say its critically important to be prepared if that happens, and knowing CPR could help save your childs life. Says White, "They can disappear or fall in into the water in a second, so you definitely have to keep your eyes on them, and I definitely think its a fear of all parents out there because you hear so many stories. I also think as a parent you should know what to do in that instance if your child were to drown and to be able to perform some type of CPR."
