Police need your help catching thieves who stole more than $100,000 dollars worth of chemicals from a local company.
It happened over the weekend at the Helena Chemical Company. The thieves cut through the locks at the gated facility.
Police believe they used one of the companys forklifts to load several thousand gallons of herbicide onto a trailer. Company officals believe that the thieves will try to re-sell the chemicals. Says manager Rick Sweeney, "Some of the product that they took weighed nearly 3000 pounds. Theyd need a forklift to get it up there obviously, quite a big trailer to haul that much of it off, so they came prepared. Its a product thats in pretty short supply, high demand, and these guys took it to make a profit off of it, Im sure."
