Local Musicians Feeling The Pinch Of High Gas Prices

gas_music2008-07-15-1216174240.jpgThe high cost of gasoline is striking a sour note with local musicians. Its cutting into profits and even limiting tours for some bands. We spoke with the lead singers of two local bands today. Daniel Fluitt of the Thrift Store Cowboys and Josh Abbott of the Josh Abbott Band. Both say theyve spent thousands of dollars on gas this summer while touring. Both bands have traveled all over the state and the country. They say gas prices are heavily cutting into their profits and making them think twice about future tours.
