Documents filed at Lubbock Federal Court reveal that the Texas Attorney General's Office is investigating a matter at City Hall.
The documents are a motion in the sexual harassment suit between Judge Brad Underwood and court worker Elizabeth Overstreet.
The motion asks that if Overstreet's husband, Lubbock's head of Homeland Security Kevin Overstreet, is asked to be a witness in court that he not be questioned about his role int he FBI's investigation of the AAG Insurance Scandal or an investigation being conducted by the AG's office.
The two investigations have nothing to do with the sexual harrasment case, but it brings up many questions.
What could the AG's office be investigating?
According to sources, the matter has nothing to do with the FBI investigation. We were unable to get specifics, but KLBK was told that it involves city officials and prominent members of the community.
The City Attorney's Office and the City Manager had no comment on the AG's investigation.
