LUBBOCK, Texas: After a 3-game series victory over Seymour in the Regional Finals of the High School Baseball Playoffs, the New Deal Lions are headed back to the State Tournament. This year's state tournament appearance marks the third season in a row that the Lions have advanced to the State Tournament, but in each of the last two trips to State the Lions have come up empty-handed. So, now, the New Deal seniors have some unfinished business and their plan of attack is simple: bring the State Title back to New Deal.
