Unfit Truckers a Deadly Road Hazard

A recent U.S. survey is calling thousands of semi-truck drivers unfit to drive.
Thousands carry proper licenses, but also qualify for full federal disability payments.
U.S. Safety Regulators are proposing eight recommendations to make it tougher for drivers to get medical clearance to drive.
And the agency responsible for cracking down on unfit truckers acknowledges it hasn't completed any of the recommendations.
Local truck driver, Tim Baxter, thinks tougher regulations could have negative reprucussions.
"There'd be a lot more youngsters out here that don't know how to drive, could be more fatal then the ones that are driving now," he says.
Texas is listed as a state where drivers were sanctioned most frequently for breaking medical rules.
