Possible Location for Lubbock Dog Park

The Lubbock Parks and Recreation Board will recommend to the City Council that Stumpy Hamilton Park should be the location for a possible dog park.
The city recently removed a ball park from that park at 22nd and Avenue W.
A city-approved location is needed if Lubbock is to win a $100,000 contest sponsored by petsafe.com.
According to that website, Lubbock leads the nation in votes to bring a dog park to Lubbock.
