Police are on the hunt for a gunman who's shot out three windows at the McDougal Companies building at the intersection of 50th and West Loop.

Marc McDougal, who owns the company, said he and his staff have come to work twice over the past few weeks to find windows shot out and bullets stuck in the wall.

The damage will cost tens-of-thousands of dollars to fix.

"When we had the first one, it wasn't that big of a deal," McDougal said. "But then when we got back about a-- less than a week later-- we have two more. You think, well this might not be such a random act."

Beyond the cost, McDougal is worried that if the shootings continue a late-night worker will get hurt.

"We've got one embedded in the wall downstairs," McDougal said. "You know-- we can cover that stuff up. But if somebody else-- if somebody in the building were to get hit, we can't just patch that over."

A $5,500 reward is being offered to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to an arrest. You can call the LPD Crime Line at 741-1000 to report tips anonymously.
