By: Kristen Kennedy
Updated: August 2, 2008
Two teenagers are dead and seven others injured after an early morning car accident in Odonnell. Police say a truck full of teens hit a ditch while traveling north on Doak street. The truck then skidded off the road and flipped at least three times before landing on the passenger side. Police also tell us none of the passengers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was involved. "We ran over there, we saw all these kids scattered and screaming and crying then they wanted us to help the little girl but we couldnt help her," says Rachel Morales. Morales lives directly across from where the wreck happened. The driver, a 14 year-old girl, was killed in the crash. Another 14 year-old girl was killed as well. Neighbors say some of the seven injured are resting at home now, others are recovering in the hospital.
