Matt Roberts

Matt Roberts joined the KLBK Sports team in May of 2012. Before coming to KLBK Matt was the Weekend sports Anchor for KTAB-TV in Abilene, Texas, and prior to that, was an intern at KLBK during his time at Texas Tech. Matt Graduated from Tech in may of 2011 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During his summers in college, Matt spent a great deal of time traveling with and working for CBS Sports as a member of the production team, working over 20 golf tournaments including 2 PGA Championships and three Masters Tournaments.

Matt was born in Houston, Texas and lived there for 10 years before moving to Boerne, Texas where he played Football and Baseball at Boerne High School. Matt has enjoyed playing and watching sports his entire life and is an avid fan of all of his teams.

Matt enjoys being back on the South Plains covering the Red Raiders. When he is not working you can usually find him out on the golf course, or watching the game on TV.
