Tuesday night was the night to turn your porchlight on, and take back your neighborhood from crime. It was National Night Out, and on Tuesday evening, it was a time to meet your neighbors and help foster stronger and safer South Plains communities. Local law enforcement, businesses, and neighborhood watch organizations all got involved in the festivities. It was an important event for people from the Heart of Lubbock Neighborhood Association, who have dealt with 12 cases of arson in the last 18 months.
