Wolfy's Bar, at the intersection of Clovis Rd. and 2nd St. in north Lubbock, has been temporarily shut down by agents with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Agents went to the bar early Thursday evening to issue the order.

Police said the order requires the bar be shut down for seven days so that TABC investigators can gather evidence and determine whether or not the bar should be shut down permanently.

Neighbors we spoke with Thursday afternoon said a bar that had previously operated in that building had been shut down because of high crime in the past.
