Texas Tech Prepares for Texas State

By: Matt Roberts
Updated: September 5, 2012
After a 44-6 victory to open the season, the Texas Tech Red Raiders have no time to sit around and enjoy it as a hungry Texas State Bobcat's team lays in wait in San Marcos.

The Red Raiders will be facing a hostile crowd this weekend with Texas State coming off their huge win over the Houston Cougars last week, as 36+ point underdogs. On top of that The Bobcats are beginning their first season in the FBS (Formerly named Division I-A). And despite their lower classification last year, Texas State pushed the Red Raiders to the limit last year in the first half, Before tech pulled away 50-10.

Couple that with the Bobcats big win last week, and You can bet that the Bobcats wont be able to sneak up on Texas Tech.
