Texas Tech dominated Texas State for all four quarters in their second game of the season. The Red Raiders fumbled on their first possession but scored on every single one after that, pulling away with a 58-10 victory.

The crowd at Bobcat Stadium was raucous prior to kickoff but that didn't last long. With the score still scoreless, Cody Davis snagged an errant Shaun Rutherford pass and returned it all the way to the endzone -- causing a drastic change in momentum.

After running the ball over 40 times in the first game of the season, Tech took to the air in San Marcos. Seth Doege was efficient, throwing for 319 yards and tying his career-high of five touchdowns.
