LUBBOCK, Texas: The Frenship Tigers have settled on Chad Reynolds as their new head baseball coach. The position became vacant when Tony Thompson resigned at the conclusion of this past season. Reynolds, a 1995 Frenship graduate, has spent the past four years as an assistant coach on Thompson's staff. Following Reynolds' baseball career for Frenship, he went on to pitch for Texas Tech from 1996-2000, but a shoulder injury sharply reduced his playing time. When his playing days were over, Reynolds held assistant coaching gigs at Howard College and Lubbock Christian University before returning to his high school alma mater. For a video of the full story, click on the gray "Watch" icon.
