Post Slips past Slaton in Overtime

The 2-0 Slaton Tigers returned home to host the Post Antelopes on Friday night, only to have the Antelopes spoil the homecoming 22-15 in overtime.

Slaton's Bryce Whaley got things started with a 12 yard touchdown pass to Trevonne Richardson, giving Slaton the early 6-0 lead.

Later in the 1st, DJ Brown got Post going with a 53 yard punt return for a touchdown. The Antelopes getting it done on special teams, That would make it 8-6 in favor of the Antelopes.

But then back came Slaton as Bryce Whaley getting it done with his arm and legs tonight a 54 yard touchdown run puts the tigers back on top, only to have Post win this one in overtime 22-15.
