Dashcam Video Released of Lubbock Officer Shooting Dog

September 8th around 8:30pm two stray dogs wandered into the United Supermarket at 29th street and Marsha Sharp freeway.
An employee alerted police.
When police arrived they found the two dogs fighting in the parking lot outside the store.

That officer didn't even try to break up the dog fight at all like you said he did on the news! He just walled up kick the dog and then shot it !!! THEN LET IT LAY THERE KICKING WHILE IT DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When he saw that his first shot didn't kill the dog and it was suffering he should have least shot it again to put it out of it suffering if it couldn't have been saved by a vet. I am not only Furious I am appalled, [censored] and disgusted. Pitbulls have recieved so much bad media everyone is scared to death of them. The only bad pit bull is a pit bulled owned by a bad person. My pits would rather lick you to death instead of bite you. Pits used to baby set the children of the Texans who settled in Texas look it up on the history of pits in Texas. This attitude towards Pitbulls needs to be changed and people need to get the truth about Pits by doing their own research instead of believeing media hype, or only looking at those poor Pits own by individuals that abuse them in order to make them vicious those poor dogs owners should be put in jail for animal abuse or put down.

He never intended to do anything but shoot the dog. He got out of his car with his gun drawn. He put the people in front of him in danger. he is so lucky the bullet did not [censored] someone after he shot the dog. Then he kicked the other dog FOR NO REASON not once but twice. Seriously, where di he get his training? You do not shoot with people in the line of fire!!!!! He needs to reprimanded and retrained on public safety when discharging his firearm!!!!!!!
