Olympic Discus Thrower, Former Red Raider Talks London Games

Now to a former Red Raider who captured all of our attention last year during the London Olympics, throwing the discus for Team USA.

Jason young did not come home with a medal but he was able to represent Texas Tech and all of West Texas, finishing 18th overall in the qualifying round of the discus, throwing it 204 feet on the number. Even though he didn't bring home any hardware, Young and Texas Tech Head Track Coach Wes Kitley were excited to be able to have a Red Raider wearing the red, white and blue.
