Lubbock drivers say there are no lane stripes to indicate which lane they are driving in. This problem has some driver complaining saying something needs to be done about it before someone gets in a wreck.
There are small lane indicators but no distinct lines to let driver know which lane they are driving in. Lubbock drivers say its a problem during the day but especially at night.
Now the problem isn't only at 50th and Ave Q, we've received calls from viewers dealing with the same problem on University Ave between 34th and 19th street.

"I've seen a few get a little close to  other vehicles and construction workers."
"At night is when it gets really dangerous out here."
"I could see how it could affect some drivers it might be hard to stay straight on the road."
"You don't know exactly where your at on the turning lanes or the middle lanes."
"You cant tell what side your on."

Now after we called the city of Lubbock about the problem they said they just finished construction on these roads on Thursday and the lines should be painted by tomorrow.
