Tech Football Takes Big 12 Opener Against ISU 24-13

Texas Tech erased all the bad memories from the past two seasons, beating Iowa State 24-13 in their first Big 12 contest of the season.

Seth Doege started out slow with an interception that A.J. Klein returned 87 yards for a score, but quickly found a groove, throwing touchdowns to Jakeem Grant, Darrin Moore and Eric Ward.

The Tech defense also played well, getting four turnovers. Cornelius Douglas leading the way with two interceptions.
