Win Over Iowa State Was Team Effort

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are getting a day off today after knocking off the Cyclones in Ames this weekend and making their first appearance in the USA Today Coaches Poll at No. 24. That thanks in large part to the play of the defense last Saturday night, holding down the Iowa State offense until their own offense was able to get some traction and salt the game away late. But the offense was able to get it going and for the first time this year the Red Raiders have needed a total team effort to come home with the win.
