LPD Looking for School Robber

Lubbock Police are asking for your help in tracking down a suspect seen in surveillance video robbing a woman at gunpoint early Friday morning at Maedgen Elementary School.

Police say the video shows a man sneaking up behind a woman as she was walking into the school. The video then shows the man grabbing her purse and dragging the woman to the ground.

The robbery happened at 6:40 a.m.

Police are asking anyone with information in this robbery to contact the Lubbock Police Department's Crime Line at 741-1000 or text your tip to 274637. If you text your tip, remember to include the keyword "LBKTIPS" at this beginning of your message followed by a space.

Those who provide tips can remain anonymous. Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
