Getting right back to it, Lubbock Christian in a TAAPS Division 3 showdown with Fort Worth Lake Country.
Hosting Fort Worth Lake Country, also 1-0 in District, Lubbock Christian deferring and taking advantage on defense. Tad Howard heaves this one and Drew Thornton is there to pick it off.
A big start for the Lubbock Christian defense, so Will Stephens getting a chance to get going on third and long finding Brooks Stephenson for the conversion. The eagles driving but the Fort Worth defense finding a rhythm, Stephens looking and he's taken down by Zach Harlee. The Lubbock Christian drive stalls to the second. Lake Country figuring it out, Howard fakes out everyone then finds Andrew Nickerson, scampering into the endzone 7-0 Fort Worth at that point.
