Cooper Shocked 21-20 By Andrews

Now we move on to District 2-3A which looks to be a competitive race moving forward, Shallowater is 5-0 with one of the best running backs in the state. Levelland is 4-1 and so are the Cooper Pirates.
Cooper hosting Andrews tonight at Pirate Stadium. On the opening kick-off, Jaime Vela, almost goes backwards, Cooper takes over at the Mustangs 40. That setting up Payden Piaskowski making a couple moves and into the endzone for the touchdown, 7-0 Cooper.
Then more Piaskowski making the stop on third and short, Andrews would turn it over giving the Pirates offense another chance.
But Cooper giving it right back, Travis Wyndham is picked off by Coy Lopez who makes a big return.
On fourth and short Cooper making the stop but they will barely fall to Andrews, 21-20.
Next week Cooper hits the road down to Seminole.
