Tech Defense Silences WVU Offense

It was a wild one out at The Jones
on Saturday. Texas Tech throttled the then #5 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers
49-14.
But all the talk coming into the game was about Geno Smith and his high powered Mountaineer offense. But the Red Raiders did their best to put a stop to that, and that is exactly what they did, giving up 14 points to a team that averaged 52. And all that talk about West Virginia's offense on, and off the field, might have gotten the Red Raider defense a little more fired up to shut them down.
