New Development in the Hailey Dunn Case

By: Administrator
Updated: October 19, 2012
A Houston Private Investigator joins the effort to find missing Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn.

Mac Stanford has agreed to take on the case for free. He met with Hailey's mother, Billie Jean Dunn, Wednesday, and says he's already gathering information in the case.

He says he's doing it pro-bono, as he never charges the families of missing children who he tried to help.

Hailey Dunn went missing on December 27th, 2010, and several, massive searches for her have found no sign of the 13-year-old.

Billie Jean Dunn's boyfriend, Shawn Atkins, was the only suspect named in the case, but he has not faced formal charges for her disappearance.

Stanford also says he is approaching the case as if Hailey is still alive.
