Last night we had a big game at Lowrey Field featuring one of the top running backs in the nation in Jarek Black for Shallowater. Early on in the season this might have been a matchup up of two of the best backs in the state. But with Robert Johnson's season cut short by a knee injury, Jarek Black had the spotlight all to himself in this one.

First quarter, guess who? That's right, it's Black. Busting off the big run here and no one will bring him down. Shallowater takes the early 6-0 lead.

A few plays later after a Matador fumble. Everyone forgets about the big man Cameron Knight. He is in for the touchdown Shallowater up 14-0 very early.

But later Estacado would answer here Jalen Tennison on the quarterback keeper he gets Estacado a little closer at 17-6.

But then watch this, Jarek Black busts off a big run here but gets up a little slow with an apparent wrist injury. He got it taped up and returned to the game to carry it 33 times for 261 yards. So it doesn't seem the injury is too serious the mustangs stay perfect with a 30-18 victory.
