"We have nowhere to go," Rhodes explained. "I've looked a lot of places, I've called a lot of places and I just haven't been able to find anything yet. I'm praying to god that will soon end."
Rhodes was home with her five sons and five other nephews last week when fire broke out in a circuit box after she flipped a breaker back on.
The room where the fire broke out was totally destroyed and everything else in the house was filled with so much smoke it was destroyed.
"No shoes, no clothes, no diapers," she listed, explaining why her boys have had to stay out of school.
As it stands, two of her sons are staying in Levelland with relatives, the other three boys are scattered among two other aunts while Rhodes stays with her mother.
"I've had to send my two youngest kids to go live with other family because there's just no place for my kids of myself now," she explained.
Rhodes--who works overnights as a charge nurse at a local rehabilitation center--says she's willing to pay good money for a place to stay but she just can't find someone willing to rent her a house because she has to many kids.
