After going into halftime only down a field goal, the wheels fell off for the Red Raiders in the third quarter of their 55-24 loss to Kansas State.

Collin Klein engineered a touchdown drive on the opening possession, followed by an Eric Ward fumble that led to another Klein touchdown to put Texas Tech in a 27-10 hole.

All in all the Red Raiders were outscored 21-7 in the frame, with Klein having a hand in all three TDs.
