The Silent Wings Museum Hosts "Honoring Our Soldiers"

The Silent Wings Museum is thrilled to announce "Honoring Our Soldiers," Saturday, November 10th, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.  The workshop costs $7 and is designed for families.  There will be learning stations where children can work with their parents to create a badge for a veteran and make a holiday card for a deployed soldier.  Kids will have the opportunity to take a hands-on look inside a WWII soldier's footlocker and learn about what Veterans Day is, how it has changed and why it is commemorated.
