LCU Lady Chaps Dominate Opener

Now across town to the LCU Lady chaparrals, ranked number one in the NAIA preseason poll they got the season started tonight against the Permian Basin Falcons.

This year's pick of the Sooner Athletic Conference, the Lady Chaps.

In the 1st half, Emily Atkins here with the stop and pop, Putting LCU on top by 2 early on.

But the Falcons kept it close early, with the three ball pulling it within two, still in the 1st.

But then Kelsey Hoppel cleaned up on the glass, and kicked it back out to Atkins who nailed it from 3, putting LCU up by 5.

Then Kelsey Kanavan took it inside for the lay in, LCU taking care of business in game number 1, they win it by a final of 79-59.
