The Raiders interim head coach Chris Walker takes over for the first time this week as head coach.

Walker said he is still a little nervous but those nerves go away very quickly once the players hit the court.

Walker also said his team is working well together during this transition and are ready to play their first game of the season.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders play the Prairie View A&M Panthers in their season opener Friday November 9th at 8:00 pm at the United Spirit Arena.
