Senior day out at Lowery Field at Plains Capital Park for the Coronado Mustangs and it was a tough day for the seniors against Odessa Permian.

Coach Jackson with his hands full tonight against Permian.

First drive of the game Jack Wilkins took care of business on his own. He put the Panthers on top 7-0 early on.

On the ensuing Mustang drive a senior made something happen on senior night as Joey Alexander kicked a good one from 49 and put Coronado within 4.

In the 2nd, Jorrion Wilson out of the the wild panther, took a snap and did the rest. He went into the end zone and went up 14-3.

But then back came Coronado. Greg Hewitt faked the speed option that got everybody, and left Isaiah Tates in the clear. He went down the sidelines into the end zone. He made the score little closer to 14-10.

However Permian took care of business to get into the playoffs winning it 49-17.
