Texas Tech kept themselves in contention for a quality bowl game with a 41-34 win over Kansas. The Jayhawks had a goose egg in the conference win column but certainly didn't play like it.

The Red Raiders held a 27-17 second half lead before Kansas made a to tie it up late in the fourth. Two Eric Stephens overtime touchdowns and one big defensive stop later, Texas Tech had their fourth Big 12 win of the season.

Fifteen seniors were honored prior to the game. One of those, quarterback Seth Doege, had a big day with 476 yards and 3 touchdowns.
