1. FBI Agent in Petraeus Scandal Was Veteran Investigator

The FBI agent who investigated harassing emails to Florida socialite Jill Kelley, setting off a chain of events leading to CIA Director David Petraeus' resignation, was a veteran investigator. In the past, Frederick Humphries worked on high-profile terrorism cases.

2. Petraeus to Testify on Benghazi

General David Petraeus will testify before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on Benghazi today. The hearing is closed to the public.

3. 5-Hour Energy Deaths Reported

Federal officials say they received reports of 13 deaths in the past four years citing the possible involvement of 5-Hour Energy, a highly caffeinated energy drink. It is the second time in recent weeks that FDA filings citing energy drinks and death have surfaced.

4. Hostess to Liquidate Baking Business

Hostess Brands Inc., the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, said Wednesday that it will liquidate its baking business if the striking union members did not return to work by Thursday evening. The company said it cannot operate unless members of the union get back to work.

5. Lance Armstrong Foundation Drops His Name

The Lance Armstrong Foundation has formally dropped the name of the disgraced cyclist from its title, the organization announced Wednesday. It is the latest move by the cancer charity to distance itself from Armstrong following doping charges.
