The Texas Workforce Commission--which regulates commercial colleges--handed down the ruling in February.
According to a copy of the letter obtained by KAMC Investigates, American Commercial College cannot appeal the suspension.
The letter says students currently enrolled at ACC will be able to complete their course of study--a benchmark that should be met by the end of this year.
American Commercial College's Certificates of Approval was also revoked by the TWC. The school can appeal that revocation and plans to do so, according to a spokesman for the commission.
The spokesman also told KAMC Investigates the hearing for that appeal has been postponed until after federal legal action being taken against the school is settled.
Representatives of ACC did not return calls seeking comment Thursday afternoon.
