To the District 4-4A Champion Frenship Tigers playing up in Canyon tonight looking to avoid a fate like last year when they rolled through the regular season and got tripped up in the first round of the playoffs. They would have a tough one tonight on the road at Canyon.

Canyon kicks off the scoring Blake Weaver screen to Clay Erwin and he does the rest winding his way to the house. Just like that the Eagles go up 6-0.

Tigers turn, hand off goes to D'Maujeric Tucker he fakes out the photographer but he catches up just in time to see Tucker flying down the middle of the field for 6, extra-point is good, 7-6 Frenship.

Next possession for the Eagles, Weaver looking for the out route but Jared Mannon jumps the route for the pick, Tigers take over in fine field postion.

A couple plays later, a trap play to Brydan Arrendondo, a huge hole he
just walks in, 14-6 Tigers taking the momentum.

Next possession, Eagles driving but it's haulted quickly, Weaver picked again this time by Cade Davis and Frenship takes over.

The Tigers advance in the playoffs, winning 45-23.
