DALLAS, Texas: In her last week as Mayor of Dallas, Laura Miller does not expect a deal to be made that would bring the Texas Tech and Oklahoma St. regular season football game to the Cotton Bowl. Instead Miller has said the task of bringing the Tech-OSU game to Fair Park is now up to incoming Mayor Tom Leppert. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has also expressed interest in the Tech-OSU game. Jones met with Tech officials in May to give his pitch for bringing the annual game to his new stadium. Miller has also said that when Jones intered the picture, things got complicated. Phone calls to Tech and Cowboy officials were not returned. To comment on this story, click on the icon in the lower right-hand corner.
