The Mules made a great run to the semifinals in 2011. And trying to replicate or better that this year, taking on Eastland in the area round.

Caleb Wood was certainly doing his best to make that happen. He leaped up and over the pile for a touchdown to cut into the Mavericks' lead.

But as it turned out, it was just too much Eastland. Josh Moylan was on with his throws, completing deep balls that set up touchdowns.

The aerial attack then set up running back Brandon Allen who had himself a ball game, scoring a touchdown to extend the Mavericks lead.

As they ended the Mules season, 48-34.
