Hero Pilot Chesley B. Sullenberger Scheduled to Speak in Lubbock

Chesley B. Sully Sullenberger, III speaks to a crowd at the Lubbock Womens Club on January 10th. Sullenberger became famous for his emergency water landing of a airliner on the Hudson River. Sullenberger's visit to Lubbock is part of the Lubbock Womens Club Historical Foundation and The Ernestine Payne Welborn Endowment Community Speaker Series. Sullenberger's speech will be titled "Preparing for Excellence: Leading your Team to Success." Tickets are available beginning Friday, November 30 to the public as a community education project of The Lubbock Womens Club. Tickets are $75 per person and reservations may be made by calling (806)763-6448.
