Although we're not feeling the effects of Hurricane Gustav here in the Hub...for one Lubbock man, Gustav's arrival hit close to home.

Arthur Martin was one of nearly 800 evacuees brought to Lubbock from New Orleans in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina.

Martin is still living here, but his mother and sisters have since returned to New Orleans.

But they once again had to evacuate Louisiana Monday.

Martin says he spoke to his family early Tuesday and they're staying in a hotel in Alabama for now.

But now they will decide whether or not to return to 'The Big Easy.'

"Look how many hurricanes are still out there.  There's still four more following this one, so you can't say that all of them are going to miss and the ones that do hit, they're going to devestate the city again and it's hard to say if they should rebuild or not," Martin says.

Martin still doesn't know if he'll return to New Orleans to help his family.
