Search Continues for Missing Texas Tech Student Teacher

           Authorities continue searching for a Texas Tech teaching assistant, who has been missing for nearly two months.

           Lubbock police say 61-year-old Michael Krasnick was last heard from in early July, but was just reported missing on August 26th.   He was supposed to start graduate school and a teaching fellowship at Tech on August 25th, but he never showed up. His brother tells us sometime after July 8th, Krasnick left for a camping trip in Utah on his own.  It is unknown if he ever made it to his destination and it's also possible he's injured and trapped in the remote canyons he was planning on hiking on.  If you've seen Krasnick recently or know where he is now call the Crimeline at 741-1000.  He was last seen in his gray Nissan Titan with TX License Plate 84PJY3.  Police are interested in any information on his whereabouts since July 8th.
