In High School football and the
Abernathy Antelopes are still fighting to keep their season alive in the Texas high school
playoffs.
Now recently, the Antelopes have
dominated their district, until this season, when they were unseated by another
group of Antelopes from Post, in an emotional game at the end of the season
that ended with Post taking home the district title.
And with such a disappointing loss at the end of the season many wondered how Abernathy would respond to the disappointment, but the 'Lopes just went right back to work.
