Monterey's Playoff Run Comes To End In Loss To Birdville

The regional round of the playoffs continued today and this afternoon Monterey traveled to Wichita Falls to face a perfect 12-0 Birdville team at Memorial Stadium.

Birdville's Xavier Turner started the game busting a 64 yard run which turned into a Birdville score to go up 7-0.

He had two more touchdowns that contributed to Birdville's 28-6 lead going into halftime. They go on to win 42-21, ending Monterey's emotional playoff run.
