Imagine Lubbock Wants Your Ideas

By: Meredith Hillgartner
Updated: December 3, 2012

The latest Imagine Lubbock Meetings are being held today and tomorrow and you can still be a part of the planning.

Folks can go down to the Pioneer Condos on Broadway, look at plans and make recommendations on how to improve five areas of the city.

Chamber President and CEO Eddie McBride said they have had a great turnout so far.

"We'll have the public design studio where you can come in look at what has been recommended and learn about the process and then make even more recommendations and ideas of what can happen in these areas," McBride said. "To see the passion that the folks have for wanting to see Lubbock grow and how to improve our quality of life has been very heart warming and were just tickled that so many people care."

The group will present all the ideas at a meeting Wednesday night at the Cactus Theater at 6:30 PM.
