In the Big Apple today a very special event took place for two standout Red Raiders. The National Football Foundation honored former defensive tackle Gabe Rivera and current saftey Cody Davis. Gabe Rivera is being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame today, while Cody is being honored as a National Scholar Athlete taking care of busy on and off the field. He has a 4.0 GPA. He started all four years and has lead the team in tackles for the past two years. Rivera is just the fourth Red Raider to ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his efforts on the field.
